Big D,
You know I am not going to let my trees look out of hand. The trees are bright green for spring(ish). They are reproductions or similar to the photos from the battlefield at the time of the battle. This will be a very visual accurate map pack with actual renderings from the battlefield. I had to make some 30+ new terrain sprites and 8 or so new splats. I cant wait for you guys to see it up close and real soon, I might add. Jaws will drop. A completely new feel to an already great game. The scenarios are killer! The maps are stunning, and the whole thing will be a barn burner of a release for all.

Hey, 2nd_TX - so how is everything going!

Understandable - that's why I mentioned that the trees down here were of a similar-shade just a few months ago.

That ground terrain is really looking good, good idea about shading the ground between the different elevations.

So, are you and Little Powell working on the same map, or doing different maps of the same battlefield?

The last pic. Picture 5 is showing the Chancellorsville house from Hazel Grove. It is the battle of Chancellorsville.

The more that I look at it. it appears to me that there are too many buildings around that prominent structure to be Chancellorsville house. It must be a town and if a town I have no idea, maybe Savages Station? Again guessing.

Chancellorsville would be great. Also will the Red River Campaign maps come out with this expansion?

Another terrific screenie. Really impressive in terms of terrain and overall look. Must've been a ball-breaker to create.

Will there be some 5-mile maps with this expansion, or 2.5 mile ones?

No the Red River maps will not be included but will be released. I am working on them soon. The 4 Red River maps that I made will be part of a 7 map free mod including Pea Ridge, Prairie Grove, and Wilson's Creek. Perhaps I will post some pics soon to show off Pea Ridge and Prairie Grove and the enhanced RRC maps. It will be a while before they can be released. Thank you for your interests.

Little Powell made the fantastic heightfields. I did all the art and layout and placements. Lou Raider created the objects.

I think you are close Harmon, but no cigar as you are only half-right as this is a trick question.
My guess is that we are getting two-for-one special on this release.

It is Chancellorsville, but they are also releasing Fredericksburg as well.
The available maps will primarily cover the Battle of Chancellorsville but will also cover both the the 1st and 2nd "Battles" of Fredericksburg as the May 3rd battles also occured on Mayre's Heights.
