You know, natural ants never used engines, they are living. B)
Really , I'm shocked, I didn’t know that, it’s a good thing that you went out of your way to
research that and inform me of it,….. I’m speechless!
Could you tell me what good and bad things you can find in SOWG engine, which could be useful in Napoleonic Wars mod ?
Sure,
you start your
own topic, and we shall discuss the matter!
This does require that
you actually have to do it!

Cavalry weapons:
Just finshing off cavalry. I have added 3 weapons, Saber, Sword and Lance, each having three skill versions, Average, Good and Expert. The game assumes everyone have rifles so ive added them as their Melee skill. This works because the files allow alteration of a melee modifer and attack times just like you would for bayonet. I could add more skill levels per weapon but i think 3 is enough for now.
Hussars in the german army.
Formations:
The list of formations available to some unit has been changed, 'light' units can skirmish, and cavalry cant for example. This seems to work well to add abit of variety, and deals with the elite company aspect somewhat. French Brigade commanders have the
ordre mixte formation. I'm thinking about other formations like Attack column in echelon.
Order of Battle:
I'm generating a pdf to create you own but will add some OOBs for the
1809 road to Wagram. I will add two versions, one for single battalions and another for a version that splits any large battalions up to keep the 1:4 ratio, which looks better.

Excellent Graphics – I like the way they appear dimensional (depth), also the turned heads.
I wish that the current game would have had the men slightly turning their heads during battle, as if searching for another target, or just constantly watching their surroundings.

Yes 1809. And correct on the Hussars that appear in my Teugn-Hausen OOB. They will also stand in for any Dark Blue jacket - Dark Blue breeches Hussars. I could actually go do the other two im aware of, Parrot Green - Poppy Red and Light Blue - Light Blue. I think the rest are only used for one regiment.
Davinci, thanks. I forgot to move the horses head though.

Excellent work.
These Austrian (Hungarian) hussars looks like Blankenstein regiment. B)
Light blue dolman, pelisse and brieehes, balck shako and yellow fascings were characteristic for this fine unit. Light blue uniforms also wore 3 other regiments, but all they had few different details.
This graphic look quite good, nevertheless there are few small things which could be improved.
gunship24, do not get me wrong, I appreciate you work, but I have a qestion.
Can you little bit improve these hussars?
It's nothing very important, only few small details.
- sabre's scabbards could be painted silver metalic not yellow(gold).
- lace around hussars shakos, this detail was only for NCOs or officers headwears.
Now these hussars looks fine, but little bit strange as entire officers' regiment.
If you will prepare next hussars, you could take into account also Ott (then Radetzky) hussars regiment. This was Austrian the most awarded unit.
Dark green dolman and pelise, creamson breeches, red shako and white fascings.
Hussars looked like parots, but were very fine regiments.

... and to think that I play now SOWGB, passing through the TC2M version, which I discovered years ago when I played at "AUSTERLITZ-Napoleon's Great Victory"

and "Waterloo - Napoleon's Last Battle".
Now I have to start all over again ... B)
But I'm happy. Keep it up! ... Ah, the "old Europe"
