We don't have the final toolbar in the game yet or I would. I can't release a video unless it's pretty close to complete. Notice none of our screens have the toolbar. We are getting close though.
No toolbar yet!! I think I feel another rant coming on;)

Keep up the good work guys!

Just got the latest map, the latest flags and it looks very sweet! Just fixin the bugs, but it's pretty eye candy.
So you are probably issuing a directive to your staff to post a set of screen shots from the new map, right?:)

You can get farther with a kind word and a gun than you can with a kind word alone.

Actually the invitation is always open to anyone on the team to post anytime they want. It's up to them really. It's when they have time and something to say. But the entire team has priviledges to post front page stories, or screenshots.

Right now I'm working with Mark to get the bugs out of the scripting system for scenarios. I'm also working on the icing for some of the smaller details on the maps and working with Oliver on some csv stuff. I'm end-user support for everyone, so I get a little glimpse into all parts of the game.

In fact Norb, the visual on the sprites is excellent and the goal of the game should be to attain a decent graphic dress while, at the same time, deliverying the true core with combat tactics.

I was quite amused with the TC2M AI...though it can always be bettered, the AI is a good opponent. Truly there are just minor glitches to fix to my eyes...since we're talking of graphics and SS though, i am wondering if you thought about moving things in the scenery. Flies, Birds, crickets, etc. Things such as the flock of birds rising abruptly from the forest would show the location of a possible (not certain) ambush. This is the only thing coming to my mind on the graphics :)

Do you believe the man, this Mr. Harrison?

No choice. Oh You remember him, sir,
the actor from Mississippi?

An actor?
We move on the word of an actor?

Can't afford not to.

There would be some word
from General Stuart.
General Stuart would not leave us blind.

One other thing. Hooker's been replaced.
George Meade's the new commander.
Harrison read it in the Yankee papers.

George Meade, Pennsylvania man.
Meade would be cautious, I think.
Take him some time to get organized.
Perhaps we should move more swiftly.
There may be an opportunity here.

Yes, sir.
No reason to delay.

I think we should concentrate here.

All the roads converge
just east of this gap.

- This junction will be very necessary.
- Yes, sir.

I left my spectacles over there.
What is the name of this town?

We did finally get animated trees in the game. Something I've had for years, but could never get anyone to do the art.

Something to consider with extra graphics is the RAM hit, I know PC's are getting better and all - but anyone that has added a bunch of sprites in the old games, can see the difference in gameplay ( aka McClellan's "The Slows" ).
