I think the best profile would be championship style with legs and then direct elimination, sort of AFC and NFC of Football league then playoffs then superbowl.

I think your best option for the league play is the ELO system then you can either do the challenge style or the pre fixed calendar play where everyone plays against everyone else. Probably you need to play 2 matches each, one per side. CSA would be offense so one match you attack with CSA one match you defend with USA.

I like the idea of veteran players taking higher ranks... that's why I think the ELO point of arrival of the league system would be great to judge who will get to control the team from the top of the chain of command.

Just my few thoughts,I like the idea in so short there's already people organizing MP leagues and I'm sure lots of players will participate. Ah, last thought, U probably need 2 leagues, one for EU and one for USA due to the time differences.

It sounds like what you're describing is an individual tournament, while this one is a roleplay/campaign/team tournament.

But I would definitely participate in an individual tourny.
