Just updated my nvidia drivers and bios and now I am only able to play demo mode and the game is Active, and it wont let me deactivate it, How do i get out of this mess.

I do not know why that would happen, but it's something that we can fix.

Make sure to send your work/activate.log file as well. We will need this to figure out what is going on.

allright, I've read all your post. I've shut down my AVG, still I cannot activate the game. I :angry: should have just bought the hard copy, i guess. You computer guys assume everyone else knows as much about computers as you do. But we don't!! I just want to play this game that I spent $45.00 for. I can't even find a phone number so I can talk to someone,live. Some support.

First off, Welcome!:) Second, if you haven't got the problem taken care of, bear with the guys. This is the best forum for friends and help that I know of. They will take care of anything. It will be fixed and soon you will become an addict like the many here.

As the Doctor says, welcome. Know that you are not alone here. A modicum of patience is required. These folks here will move mountains to get the game running for you, but it may take more than a few nano-seconds. No, there is no phone number, (and if there was it would be disconnected from all the calls), but their support WILL get back to you as soon as they are able. We all look forward to driving your troops off the battlefield in total confusion in MP ;) See you soon.

I vouch for this as well.I had a problem last week :S and when i contacted the team they had put it right within 48 hours.I am aware that i might have been lucky here :woohoo: but at the same time i was very impressed and thankful.

Please provide more information. Did you play the demo successfully? What error message do you get when you try to activate? Could you list you activation procedures? Does your computer meet the minimum requirements?

AVG has been a problem in the past, but it should be fixed with the latest patches. I run AVG, but keep the resident shield OFF...not just for the game, but it interferes with resources, and occasionally causes freeze-ups.

We wrote all the text in there and talked about it and we still can't get it right. I'm sorry that it's confusing, as sometimes I just can't explain things well to non-tech people. We have a few on the team and they have no idea what I'm talking about half the time :)

We will get your problem fixed! I suggest that you try the manual activation. We have a support email address that we respond to very quickly. We do not offer live support, as we all have day jobs. But we have 2 email addresses that are mentioned in our documentation and we respond very quickly. We have one specifically for activation and another for all other support. Either would work in your case. So please give us a chance and shoot us and email. We put in manual activation for cases such as yours.
