Hmm.. I use Firefox on Windows XP and there's a save link as button that downloads the file. Later on I'll figure something out, really busy right now with more of this stuff.

Whoever it was that sent me the three OOBs, thanks. The problem is this. When you convert an OOB (for instance OB_2ndM.csv), it saves the converted OOB as "converted_OB2ndM.csv". You have to use this new file, not the OB_2ndM.csv. The reason it crashed was that you were trying to use the TC2M OOB, not the converted oob.

I compared the OB_2ndM you sent me to the original one. The one you sent me is from a mod, it's no wonder it doesn't convert properly.


BTW, here's a link to a TC2M OOB Pack (it has all of the OOBs from original TC2M converted to SOWGB). Clicking this link will do nothing, use the Mod Updater to install it.

I'm getting the same error about the TC2M oob is an invalid type of OOB.

I am using the Convert TC2M to SOWgb in the tools bar.

Are you absolutely certain that the OOB you are trying to open with the convert button is one that works in vanilla (unmodded) TC2M? If so, and you are still getting the invalid message, email the OOB to garnier at fastmail.fm

Updated to support conversion of CMP 3.0 OOBs.

Can you add a more detailed message what is wrong in an invalid OOB?

Since it was a simple change, I've made it show the line that it failed on in the "Invalid OOB" message. This should help a little. It's uploaded and I tested it, version 40 now. Let me know if this update causes any problems.

The portrait values are hardcoded, right? Because the converter doesn't use the values I have assigned in the replacements file.

Yes, because the converter reads a TC2M oob, and TC2M oobs don't have any portrait entry. So the converter inserts an arbitrary (I think it was set to be blank) portrait into that slot.
