That's good news, but I was really hoping for a discount for those guys, like me, that bought digital download as soon as it was available. Living in Europe, as much as I would love to support you guys and get my hands on the bonus content, I am having second thoughts about shelling out another 72 bucks (box+shipping)

Hi.

I'm in agreement with Franciscus, but I would like to take it a step further. I know people who have shelled out the money for the downloaded version, and I think it would be a good thing to not forget those people who supported you from the beginning, which btw we also helped out with debugging the game itself which eventually led to the first full retail patch.

I think just purchasing the game either it be by download, or by purchasing the hardcopy would be treated equally. Why would you even consider on treating those who buy the hard copy with bonus material? What is wrong with the rest of us who downloaded the game, which btw must have saved you money because you didn't have too get it prepackaged, and shipped out via courier.

I'm not complaining, or trying to make anyone feel guilty. This game is one of the best releases this year, if not in the past couple of years.

I can only speak for myself on this, but I feel like I'm being left out in the cold simply because I have decided to purchase the game via download (just to mention, I didn't have much of a choice, the download was the only option).

I would like to ask that NorbSoftDev may consider for those who downloaded the game to be issued PDF versions of the bonus material. All I am asking is that you think about this.

I would think that getting a hardcopy of the bonus material is a bonus in itself, as having the PDF version is a bonus, but not as nice as getting the original print.

Anyway, I had to have my say.

Later!

Excluding one of the mods and the extra sprite sets, everything in the bonus content is available online somewhere. Once the CD is out, people will be incorporating the additional sprites into mods, so they will be available anyway. That leaves one mod as content truly unique to the CD. The mod is a series of 10 linked division carry-over battles. You can't beat it, but the challenge is to see how far you can get. If people who play it think it is worth the bother, I will release it a month or so after the CD comes out.

Fair enough :)

Down the line I would like for more specific info on where to download the "Cd content", but that can wait.
Funny thing is, you actually have lost a few revenue by deciding on a DD version only versus a box version only. I would have payed more when I bought the DD version to get a "pre-buy" of the box version when it would become available. I did this with Les Grognards, and Elemental. I did not do this with SoW...but I would have if you have given me that option.
