Installing modded obs

This is where our experts try to teach you the very flexible modding system for our previous release - SOW Gettysburg and its add-ons. It's powerful, but dangerous. Post your tips and your questions.

OK, it's official. I am an idiot.

I downloaded the game from the website thinking it was the latest build and it turns out I didn't have the 1.2 patch. I had 1.12 or something that confused the beejeezuz out of me, which isn't that hard to do.

So problem solved. I am now in ACW nirvana with all the oobs I could shake a stick at. My humble apologies for causing a fuss when there wasn't one.

Good deal. Strange how an out of date game caused that issue. :)

It was something Beef Stu said in one of his posts about getting the beta and it fixed the problem. I thought "Beta what? patch?" I realised then that someone else said something about a "balance forces" button which I did not see in my build. Putting two and two together I realised I was out of date. Not just my fashion sense either!

I would suggest putting on the readme for the demo that after buying an activation code the game will need patched. Would help the hard of intellect users like myself :D
