hi, sounds good- it would be neat to add trains to the battles that used them- for instance First Manassas Johnson sent 30,000 by rail to stop the flank attack at their far left- I love trains- if you could handle that it would add another dimension - take care :cheer:

That many be a little much for many computer systems to handle. It`s a good idea, but to do it, some of the things we now have in the game would have to be eliminated so the game would not freeze up everytime you start to play. Any other thoughts about this out there?

Yeah and it doesn't make any sense in the scope of this game. Maybe if there were a larger strategic map, but for this?

You'll have to get your fix with model trains for now, I'd say.

Pretty much. You run the GCM Launcher and register, create your divisions, and you're ready to join in the carnage.

Hey, when can we get a blank map that basically just has a few hills, creek beds, streams, knolls, the tree under-growth, and a very few main roads?

Just curious; why would you want this? Seems kind of dull.. Unless you were going to add your own stuff? :)

Yes, you are absolutely correct!

I strongly support the route that the game is taking such as releasing a set of maps every six months or so, but in-between that time, it would be good to have a blank map to experiment with.

Sort of like what was done with the Kansas Map – not my idea, but an idea that came from Jack O’Neill.

It gives the players\modders another avenue of enjoying the game!

The only true logic is that, there is no true logic!

Good idea Davinci. I'll bring this up with the team.

And the map packs should be released much more often than every six months. :)

I recommend getting TeamSpeak first, as those present will be able to help you out if you need it. You technically don't/shouldn't need the GCM launcher, but for now, it's what is played almost exclusively.

God yes! A blank map would be fabulous. Big D and I will run wild, (again), with all kinds of stuff. You'll never recognize it. WOOT!!!
