Surrender?
Re:Surrender?
maybe at some point, but for this release you must be there at game start and cannot join a game in progress.
Re:Surrender?
In an RTS, it wouldn't really be fair for someone to jump in and out of games. It would create a balance issue that would make it very unfair for the person playing against 2 people. Ask any person that plays RTS games and it is way harder for one person to control a whole army as it would be for 2 people, for obvious reasons.
Norb is doing the right thing, unless down the line he would make it so it would require that two people join at the same time, then that could be fair, otherwise it would create a huge imbalance.

Exactly. If I start a game , with say Estabu or ironsight as my teammate or teammates.....and we are playing against Phantom Captain and Chamberlain....then I want to know that's who we're up against.....and vice versa for them as well. None of that "oh by the way, Chamberlain or Estabu dropped out and it's now Hancock the Superb or Chantilly you're/we are playing in place of.:dry:In an RTS, it wouldn't really be fair for someone to jump in and out of games. Re:Surrender?
That would work, or you just have a randomly generated unit (same size as the one taken by the opposite side) appear and look for combat. Then, if someone else joins, they can get their own unit (assuming it is the same size, and they are on the opposite team) in the place of the AI unit.
This would be a lot of work, but as I say, very good for marketing (not to mention revolutionary!) and would increase the happiness with the game.

That would be fine gentlemen, but I no longer work in the restaurant business.
