I don't think it will work in Sandbox because it has to be triggered by battlescript command, and there has to be sunset/sunrise info in the scenario.ini. Maybe something we can put in a future release.
OK, Thanks for the information, maybe in the near future this feature will be added in, it is pretty neat watching this happen.

I love this Pipe Creek map. My first few attempts were not successful. When I played Longstreets scenario I won handly. It was the over powering artillary. What made it easier was the battalion control of many batteries. Thank you.

Yeah the first one is challenging but a little easier since it's the opening scenario. All of that artillery does come in handy, but finding good ground for it can be interesting (compared to the strong Union artillery positions).

Glad to hear you're enjoying it. :)

I recently purchased the Pipe Creek Scenarios. Unfortunately, they will not load and then it crashes. I have never had this problem with other mod downloads. Please help!

Are you patched to 1.3? It won't run otherwise.

Works great since I downloaded the patch.

One question I have. During the Hill scenario I flanked the enemy with Anderson's division and 2 brigades from Pettigrew. However when I attack the enemy in the rear they just turn around and fight. Wouldn't they run with an enemy to their front and rear, and cut off from reinforcements and re-supply?

Any chance you might make maps of the 7 days battles in the future?

The AI does not know how to run away when being flanked or overwhelmed. The AI is great about setting up their attacks, flanking etc., but once you start to shoot at them, they are going to shoot back until they start to lose morale/fatigue, then they will eventually retreat.

I guess the Pipe Creek maps are okay... :P Now, when can I expect the Vicksburg/Chattanooga/Georgia campaign maps. Next Friday okay? Geospatially correct down the 1 meter elevation difference?

I've got one complaint about Pipe Creek...but it can be seen on all the other maps in general. The terrain is too damn steep. There is no way soldiers (even 12ft tall ones as the game has it) can march/fight up some of those inclines. They look like the hills around my house, not the almost flat as a pancake northeastern plains in Pennsylvania (sorry, I'm used to 14000ft mountains, not 20ft rises :P . Little and Big Round Tops are good examples of really steep slopes that, although quite a hike, are really not as steep as they are in the game.

Is there a way to fix this...but that is venturing into forbidden no "moddable" map territory. Wink wink.

But the maps do look great and I'm having a lot of fun playing on them.

Created a nice little company sized cavalry scenario where you are trying to push back an enemy picket line to find the main body. Very nice on the terrain.

Thanks again!

They are modeled after the real terrain using topographic maps, so if they weren't that steep they wouldn't be accurate.
