Hi all. Long time 2nd Mannassaser, first time poster. I'll finish introducing myself by saying that until I bought TC2M, Sid Meier's Gettysburg had remained on my (paltry) hard drive since c. 1998.
I can't wait for the game, I know I can get at least two of my friends to purchase the game and join me online. I think the first thing we'll do is (if possible) take a rebel corps each and fight the whole battle against the Yankee AI.
Anyway, I thought I would just post to note the somewhat odd way of dispelling what little speculation remained of the focus of the game by posting the sources you're using.

Really looking forward to this game. I will push the ACW club hard to accept this new game for club play. Since after years of only HPS games allowed the club has approved two new strategic level games I would hope they will approve a potential "real time" game. As far as I am concerned a game like this could bring the club together with live combat.

Do you have a website? Sounds interesting - I haven't heard of the ACW club before. Is it like a virtual wargames club (for ACW obviously)
