Will,
Vimiero OOB - British Light Dragoons. They have the "skirmish Formation" Icon on their toolbar. Didn't deploy them, just looked to see if they had the icon.

Downloaded today. Had one of the most amazing battles I have ever fought. I was the British using the Vimero OOB. One thing I did notice that was weird for me, when my troops captured a French cannon the crew turned into Austrian artillery!

Mich,
Yes, happened to me too. I seem to remember Gunship saying something about that but can't recall what it was. Am sure he'll adjust it at some point.

Thanks for the feedback. Cavalry dont use ranged weapons yet but do form skirmish formation. This is for movement purposes only. They will get carbines soon though i havent thought on the details yet.
Ahhh Austrian artillery! Ok this is down to using the Road to Wagram Mod. Though not a game breaker i admit it looks a bit weird. It is easily solvable, ive uploaded a text file with the csv entries required. To apply, open unitglobal.csv in the Peninsular Mod in notepad and copy the fix entries in.

Doing my personal mod to expand the regimental numbers into names, I note the presence of the 71st Foot at Vimero.
These were a Highland regiment, the Highland Light Infantry, and would have looked liked the photo at the bottom. The original photo was captioned HLI and Riflemen at Vimero. As I am not a Scot, I don't mind too much if the HLI masquerade as 'Sassenachs" and it does not detract from the game.
I believe their fancy bonnets got very battleweary as the campaign progressed and they were forced to use the standard shako with some sort of 'highland' decoration. I believe though they remained kilted throughout the war. Geoff Laver
