Jack here is an example of how I changed my lines. All of the level-five lines are identical to this one.
Well, let me clarify that - all of them only have one line, other than the title.
Level 5 Infantry Double Line (10),DRIL_Lvl5_Inf_DoubleLine,1,16,20+,90+,DRIL_Lvl6_Inf_Line,0,1,1,-10,0,,,,
(0-0-2)16+,(0-0-2)14+,(0-0-2)12+,(0-0-2)10+,(0-0-2)8+,(0-0-2)6+,(0-0-2)4+,(0-0-2)2+,(0-0-2)1+,(0-0-2)3+,(0-0-2)5+,(0-0-2)7+,(0-0-2)9+,(0-0-2)11+,(0-0-2)13+,(0-0-2)15+
Now, the question here is - Why does the DRIL_Lvl5_Inf_DoubleLine control the starting units being spaced apart!

Okay, based on what DaV has just found out, all should be well but it isn't. Example - Talavera OOB. British Cavalry Division - 7 brigades - 6 are Cavalry, one is a Battery. The 2 Heavy Brigades are fine. The 4 Light Horse Brigades are all stacked together. (I forgot to check to see if there is a munitions train in there). So, ideas?
Stock cavalry divisions will accommodate 6 cavalry brigades and 6 arty batteries. It sounds as if the light brigades are in something different than DRIL_Lvl5_Cav_DoubleLine.

This is a vary large brigade. Divisions are level 4.

Jack,
It is nothing to do with your mod or OOB, I can get the same effect with setting up a full cavalry div from the GB June 30 OOB or the Brandy Station one. Will have to look into this one in more detail.

You're right. It may be due to the fact that the default formation in defines.ini is an infantry division. So the 1st cavalry brigade forms correctly in a single line, since the infantry division can have 1 cav. brigade, but the rest form on top of one another.
If that's the case then the simple solution would be to add more cav. slots to DRIL_Lvl4_Inf_Line.

I somehow changed that a long time ago and then forgot about it until I checked.
But, my
unitglobal and
OOB use's the
Lvl5 for a formation. So, the Army Commander, and the Divisional Commander have been on Lvl5 without crashing the game.
