You can. Listen closely when the horse regiments march. :)
One of the best 'immersion' moments I had was on I think BS10, I was waiting for enemy troops and had panned over to the river - I was listening to the water flowing and then all of a sudden the thunder of far off cavalry doubletiming appeared and started to increase in intensity...

Yep they will - took about a day if I remember..... but they will sort it :)

Its okay, we blame Tony Blair for those patches. They sucked but the game can't be unpatched unfortunately.
