Ok this is a Question for Mr. Garnier. Am not able to Unpack the Random GCM maps. Are these maps un-packable to point where they can be viewed & edited in Power Render?

Use the attachment below and download it onto the Desktop.

Then place it into the folder that you created for Garnier 's map. Basically the folder that shows all of the map files.

Now, use the PowerRender program and check on the splat2.lpj file and the map will open.

Am having a problem un-packing the RandomMap_399.LSL file. TC2M-unpacker un packs a file not viewable in Gimp, Power Render , nor PSP 7. Is there a different Un-Packer? Or are these maps editable?

You really don’t have to use any third party programs to edit the maps…such as TC2M unpacker .

There is a default program located in the PR6 \ Utility folder called LibEdit .

Use this program to extract the files that are located in the LSL file and place them into a folder.

Then use the file that I attached above to Open the map with the PR Program .

Only use the files from the PR6 to edit the maps other than programs such as…Photoshop, etc…

The knowledge from the forums is un-surpass able.. PR6 is an awesome tool, do humbly appreciate your quick response to forum question. I will try not to make a habit of alot of questions, when I get more familiarized with the engine. Will just have to go from there.
