No solo MP is different from SP, SP is more performing respect GB because Norb introduced multithreading for some calculations, in multiplayer could not be used because of desync problems there're not the time to analyze and correct before the release.
Martin, can you check the CPU time and memory consume during a match of scale you reported above (play with the game windowed and the task manager open, resources monitor button)?
