My wife and I are interested in attending too, along with our son. We only live ~50 miles
from Gettysburg, so we would probably just make a day trip, but TBD.

Alas, I won't be able to attend. My wife will be away on a business trip this entire stretch of October, and I know I won't have the energy to bring my 3 year old there without her.

Also need hotel coordinates or me and Mr Beefstu are sleeping in the truck. Or the tent which I do possess. But it's a tad bit comfy and I doubt Beef will put on the dress I require.

I am in DC for the fall, so a weekend trip tp either Gettysburg or Antietam is very doable. My Civil War Forum is actually having a get-together the weekend of September 29th/30th that I will be attending. Between this abd that should get my fix for Civil War battlefield touring this fall. Has a final date been selected?

It's Oct 20 - 23 (for me at least). Reservations have already been made.

Sounds good. I'll probably just make day trips out of it.
