Well a dead Threat that needs revisiting.... Any napsters out there?
With the new developement in NSD, my research has gone back to the Civil War after a 20 year stint in the ranks of Napoleon. I am sucking down C.W. Books like crazy...
Naps will make a nice platform for this game.

There are many,many new goodies in this release... Very Versitile.

Do you guys collect miniatures if so, what you got?

It would be just amazing to make a similar game for Napoleonic wars.

Just think of the so many different units and all the cavalries, artillery calibers, all the different infantry types, all the nations involved. It would be the best game ever.

Many napoleonic games are in the making but yours would be unrivaled using your engine.

We have not forgotten about Waterloo. We actually started doing Waterloo for this game. But we decided, since we had to rewrite everything, we had a much greater chance for success if we stuck with what we knew. But if all goes well, it seems only natural to do a Waterloo game at some point.

Waterloo..... Campaign.... ahemmmm!
The number of uniforms alone could keep the Art Department going longer that the wars lasted.

Start out with generic uniforms for the Base nations Austria, Britain, France, Prussia, Russia, Then let the modders lose. It would be like an explosion.

Austria & Russia would be silly for a Waterloo game

If squares are in, a decent mod on the napoleonic era should deff be possible immho.
