I think Norb's a big tease or Bill Gates in disguise in which case he's a massive tease.

With regards to those in the same demo boat I was in as to HWLG, JMM has informed me that he took down the old demo and will be posting a new and improved demo sometime on Sunday.

A demo that does not work does not bode well for the supposedly released game. I downloaded the Histwar demo and it crashed and burned and never work. Do you really think I'm going to buy the full version now?

I had the same problem with the demo and decided to spend my other gaming money on Rise of Flight, a wwi flight sim.

I know that many people were disappointed about the 1st demo...the game has improved much since then...the guys that preordered got a second demo, which was ,much better already, and the release version was another huge step...none of the problems you saw in demo I are still there - as I already said: there are still some minor bugs, which are attended to at the moment by the beta team and JMM!

if you're not convinced: JMM is about to upload a new demo sometime soon...try this one out...and then tell me what you think

last thing: I didn't join this forum to promote another game . it's simply not my style...I never even mentioned its name before I was asked about it...so I never wanted to push anyone to buy it...I'm here on this forum because I am looking forward to SOW only - but of course I will always answer any questions that come up on HWLG

No issues with promoting other indie games on this board, especially JMM. He contacted me back in the CWBR days and has always been very supportive. I usually try to keep other games in the general discussion area, but this thread didn't start out that way :)

Hi all!

I'll get back tomorrow with more details...

the links you requested for the game is:

http://www.histwar.com/

and for the forum:

http://www.histwar.org/forum/index.php

PS: I still don't know if this is the right topic for it, where we are dicussing another game...I don't wish to offend anyone...so feel free to move my posts...maybe I'll open a topic on it somewhere else...where it is not directly connected with the new upcoming great game on Gettysburg!

Solinvictus:

I have followed the links, the site and game looks interesting, i appreciate i could follow the product through to basket to get shipping cost but do you have any idea as to shipping cost to the UK......Cheers.

This as with The American Civil War period has always been a point of interest plus i have always been a total war fan, so when they announced Empire followed by Napoleon i thought everything was coming together in one fantastic hit...that is until.............I played Empire, cough cough, and lately to top what i thought was a technical disaster in Empire, Napoleon, for me it just hasn't worked, so i am curios about this.

I made inquiries back at HQ and this is what I found out B)

It depends on the option you take for the shipping. It's somewhere between 5,20€ and 12€

In pounds, I can't give you the exact price as it always changes, depending on the rate exchange.

hope it helps ;)

I just want to officially thank Gunfreak for the orginal title of this thread. I have answered a ton of emails and PMs about why I missed my schedule and didn't ship the demo on Friday. Always causing trouble! :)
