I'd just go ahead and release the game as in demo mode, and have a day 1 patch, if it was me....

That's one approach, but I want to be done and take a break after release. I probably won't, but that's the plan. I have two weeks off to do nothing starting Monday and we all need a break.

Norb--quite happy with your "slight delay. It has allowed me to grow a full length beard so I really look like Longstreet --though clearly much older and wearing much less fashionable gear.

My wife will kill me if the game isn't released. Since 10/2006 I've been investing small amounts to make this game, it adds up over 4 years. So for four years she's been hearing that we'll pay it off when the game comes out. Time to pay the piper!

I just registered (after lurking for a VERY long time) to say that I'll be a day one purchaser. Thanks for the time, effort, and investment norb!!

Don't know how my family and friends are going to react when they can't make contact with me after the game is released (actually they have seen this before). No doubt I will be totally immersed into playing GB.

So I don't mind the lull before the release, it's a time to get things done on the property and whateverelse needs tending to.

Don't worry if you have to miss the March 31st date. It's near enough. A problem is a problem.
