Noticed in the demo that a 4 gun battery put down a regiment at 300yds after about 10 minutes of firing.
Looks like the arty has got some teeth.

Hey allI just discovered that the "Historical" setting = H.I.T.S.
If you haven't tried it yet give it a go. I dare you!

Well done, well done
The only comments I have regarding the single-player demo are twofold:
1.) As many have already stated, the in-game battle sounds (e.g. musket fire, bugles) need to be louder
2.) Maybe it's just my computer but I felt there was a spottiness, namely short freezes when I moved the camera angle or tried to move around with the mouse. Again, this might just be my computer.

I couldn't be more pleased.
As an avid player of both of the TC games, I got just about every thing I had hoped for in this game. Well done!
I am one of those who want the game on disk to occupy space along with my copies of the other TC games.
For my part of it, I would like a switch to turn off music. Seems like every game I purchase uses music that I very quickly tire of.

Whut game u playin?
Guess I'm used to the colored maps...that and I only glanced at the map during the fight.
I see the roads now.
One question, what setting(s) do I change to have all of the terrain effects show, like in the screen-shots?

Eric labeled them all a few months ago so I know they're there.

Terrain effects as in artillery damage etc? Those should be visible in the default settings (Rifle Smoke, Arty explosions). As far as Map Objects, that should already be on Best in the default options.

Have you seen what canister fire does yet? I'm not sure what percentage of the regiment goes down each shot but there are clumps of men everywhere when they reach canister range of the artillery.

The Ai controled battery in the torturial killed mabye 150 rebs on long range and murderd another 300 with canister, they actauly held ground agasint 3 regimetns and chaced them all of, but lost half it's guns.
