Re:MAP READING? WHEN DOING ORDERS
Hi A Dukes
Yes, I know how to post one line of a csv. file.
But I was trying to post across the whole story, twenty-one lines from each of two files. I was loathe to pack it all up in an attached MS-WORD file which might have been too big but I will try that now.
Will be back.

I'm hoping that DH Hill's AI brain will figure out how to overcome problems while marching to GB without further commands from me(Jackson), and pray he does not get his ass in trouble or commits suicide in the process.Boston: Right now playing Jackson, DH Hill has showed up on the map edge, I'm having a wicked hard time trying to make out locations as to were to send his division, so I just order him to the center of GB (out of frustration)...
But that is as historic as you can get it in my opinion. i don't remember the original order from the scenario, but you know the Feds are somewhere around Gettysburg, so you order your div to march to Gettysburg. As you have no cav at your disposal, you have to do the scouting in person. When you see the Federal lines, you order Hill to halt and let him from his div in line. Then you can advance the whole line to make contact with the enemy. At least that is the way i play and it works for me. I agree that some more locations would be great and sometimes it's hard to identify certains locations on the map, but imo you can move your units easily around with the existing courier message options without relying too much on the already given locations.

As mentioned earlier you have to put "IDS_MAP_" in front of the objective name. "IDS_MLOC_" won't work for map objectives.Make sure that you put the "IDS_MAP_" string copied from the map.csv in the "Objective Name" column of the maplocations.csv file.
