But...but, what of my tangential musings? If I can't wander aimlessly in my rhetoric, I shall surely not know what do with myself.
Just FYI, games have been getting later recently, Willard, so there's a chance you could still make it in. Not that you don't usually pop on when you can anyway. The 7 PM EST start time hasn't happened in a good while now that I've seen.
We're trying to get the campaign rolling again, did some more administrative shuffling to hopefully get the ball rolling smoothly. We would benefit immensely from more players to help spread stuff around. We had, at the outset, some solid admins to oversee the whole thing but that's kinda fallen by the wayside due to that old "life" thing. But anyway, the map and whatnot is up and the OOBs are revamped (pending one more fix by Pender and myself). Hopefully that's the last obstacle.

I haven't been able to get on recently due to some time constraints with family/work. By next week I will have a lot more time for about 2 months. If you need help on the admin stuff, send me a PM with the details and if I can help out, I am willing to volunteer.

I'll have to check with Pender, Little, and Kershaw. I am only vaguely aware that these admin things exist. I proudly bring nothing to the table as well.

Just a thought fellas. If you could put a permanent post in the lobby so every one can read it. Suggested message could be " starting times could begin on the hour every hour from such in such time to what ever time ." Or any message to pop up let's say a campaign starting at a time given. On team speak some times you state you will start at a certain time. So have that posted in the MP Lobby like a bulletin board note pasted up. May be a little flashing card note or something to grab attention?

Hi.
How about logging into the multiplayer lobby, and see who is up for a game.
Back in old days when Teamspeak came out, those who were using Teamspeak would add TS_then their nickname to let people know they use Teamspeak. And when we made an MP game in any lobby we were apart of the room would be for an example TS_SH2_Coop for silent hunter 2, etc.
We would login to the game server after we logged on to Teamspeak, and sit there waiting for players to have a game. We never sat on Teamspeak only. we tried that, and it failed miserably.
Anyway...

That is what I mean . Once you are logged in ,a bulletin can be on to give attention to starting times for games.

Cool. Oh okay, that is a really good idea. An addon that would popup when you login into the game lobby itself. Actually that is a really cool idea RDBoles.
That's the best Idea I heard yet, and makes total, and good sense.
Later!

Not every one gets on the forum, So when lookie loos come to the Multiplayer Lobby they will see posted starting times to a campaign or game. Some times you hang out in the lobby to play but no one is there,{so it seems}. how ever once you leave a whole bunch of people come on and a game starts. So have a post in the lobby that stays for awhile and gather in lookie loos.
