Scourge of War Patch 1.4

Game won't run. Keeps crashing. Hopefully we won't get any posts here, but if we do, we'll try to help you out. You can also post any bugs that you find here. IMPORTANT: Don't post mod related problems here!

If there had been a good way to disable them in the installer, I would have. As with the new version the mods need to be updated and most are now. But disabling the mods helps most with these issues.

It's possible you have a corrupt download. First try redownloading the patch, then try again.

After you are back up and running, and have any activation problems, you can email activate @ norbsoftware dot com with your activation code.

A corrupt download won't let him install the patch.

Add the SOWGB folder to the exception list of your anti-virus or security software and then reinstall the patch.

No, just the patch. And make sure you download it from here:

Irving,

Click on the following link below, these were some runtime errors and fixes in the past, possibly antivirus program interferring, etc. I hope this helps out.

All,

Something very odd has appeared right after I installed the latest mini-patch. Pictures are self-explanitory, I hope -

French gunners now appear to be wading thru knee-high grass.

CW gunners somewhat less so but their feet are now buried. This only happens to Artillery, no-one else. Very strange. They were definitely not this way before the mini-patch.

Thoughts?

Also found this (above) - When infantry lie down, they almost disappear in the grass.

Question - could this be a result of the Graphics "Packing" being done now? I'm not a Graphics person, so I don't know.
