DaV,

Have found a previously unknown road glitch on ELPine2. NorthWestern corner, a road runs north to south. As it crosses the 1st. River/Stream while travelling south, there is a T intersection with a road heading East. As one heads east on this road, it passes thru 2 forests before turning south along the river/stream. Somewhere between the two forests is a break in the pathing. Only noticed this now as the AI is setting up my armies in the NorthWest corner and I am using this road to move Flank Guard units out that way as I march south. Hope this helps.

Jack - is this the road that you are speaking of?

If, not can you take a screenshot of the area on the JumpMap and circle it, so as I can pinpoint which area to concentrate on.
The attachment example1_2012-04-01.jpg is no longer available
Thanks,

DaV,

Yes, exactly. There is a short section about halfway between the two tree lines there that it passes thru.

All , there is a road error in both maps that were located by Jack , here is the fix for both maps, but as usual they must be done manually.

C:\NorbSoftDev\ScourgeofWar-Gettysburg\Mods\ELPine_1\Maps

If this is done correctly - it will ask you to over-write the previous ELPine_1.bmp or ELPine_2.bmp file...Click YES to overwrite.

Thanks, and sorry for the inconvenience!

DaV,

Have played hell out of both maps now. Fan-freakin'-tastic job!

Some feedback - 1) definitely needs a few small towns, maybe around the major intersections.
2) on EL2, the objective stars don't show up. Have I missed an install, maybe?
Also, there is no objective list on EL2.
3) on EL2 again, the roads look entirely different then EL1 on the minimap. Again, have
I something to change them, OR are they supposed to be that way?

Otherwise, GREAT!

Jack – How is everything going!

1) Understood.

2) If, I remember correctly I left that blank due to the fact that the G-Man would have changed them, that one was basically for the Multi-Player-Community , and he alters those maps to play on!

3) I think that I released another one for the ELP1 after it was released, so I never went back and did the same for the ELP2 map.

Hey, J – I’m still in the early learning phrase with this, so bear with me!

DaV,

Most everything sucks, AND I may have to go to distant lands to unscrew some crap the Government has done...again. Not happy...Oh well.

Anyway, Got that about G. Also, apparently I cannot type anymore.

we are all still learning about this.

This is why the small things in life still matter, such as modding and playing this game, it gets the mind off of the daily hassles of life. At least it does in my case.

What did I miss, what did you mistype?

Jumping Topic – The ELPine3 which is the ten-mile-map that I’m working on has as of now 205 houses, barns, sheds, and I’m just now starting to add in the wood-sheds, and outhouses.

I still have to convert some of the houses, into a different texture to sort of break-up the everything appears the same, but it seems to be going very good right now.

I’m taking a different approach to this one. I’m designing the map around the marching and the fighting, this will help in keeping the fps at an acceptable level by constantly monitoring them around the action.

D,

I left out something in my last sentence - I think it should have read "...Again, have I MISSED something to change them..." or something like that. No biggy.
