As its a test, happy with anything the admins deem fit to use. I'd fight with regiments of Cheyenne if need be.

Re: Grand Campaign Beta - Need a few volunteers
Hi KCarter - I am a bit confused by the discussion on the other site where what I consider extremely high and detailed levels of role-playing are required to just play in the Shenandoah Valley test.

I have no interest, nor the time, nor even the knowledge of ACW brigade and division command and logistical affairs to participate to that degree. Learning this at this late date is a bit of a disappointment.
Can we reach some middle ground agreement?

Hi
Are higher resolution maps of the campaign theatre available? Those given on the first page don't enlarge to enough detail.
Thanks.

Re: Grand Campaign Beta - Need a few volunteers
KCarter....sorry I missed your in-game poke yesterday....and yes, I'm still interested, just waiting for further directions. However, like Saddletank, I'm not interested in doing any role-playing. Just let me know when/what to do next.
Re: Grand Campaign Beta - Need a few volunteers
I'm with Saddletank on this. I'll play the test campaign, but there's no way I can devote the time to a full role-play of my character. The grand campaign idea is great and I think would attract a lot of players. But the role playing is probably going to turn off many from joining in.
Is Rogers still in on this too? I haven't seen anything from him in a while.

Re: Grand Campaign Beta - Need a few volunteers
Hi All,
So role-playing will be totally optional. The Commanders though, will at least need to issue text based strategic/movement orders to their subordinates on the forum however. So we can coordinate army movements and engagements. It may be necessary for a subordinate (if detached independently for instance) to post strategic/movement orders on the forum as well.
Rogers is playing.
CS team: Rogers (cmdg), Carter, Razorback
US team: Saddle (cmdg), Mike, Jack
To start we need both commanders to issue their first strategic/movement orders to their respective Armies. Make sure to refer to the above rules, or ask if there are any questions.
Admin Robert has already posted something on the US and CS forums ordering the Army commanders to commence their campaigns. Just respond to that.

Re: Grand Campaign Beta - Need a few volunteers
Is everyone still playing? We need the commanders to issue initial orders to the armies to move the campaign forward. If anyone has question on where to post orders, etc. message me or just ask. Thanks!

I'm definitely interested if you need more people or if anyone's dropped out.

My general has questions that he needs answers to before he can issue orders. I asked these questions a week ago and I am still waiting. Is everyone still playing?
