For some reason the mod didn't post. Can't get at it.

I think that you were trying to get it while I was in the process of moving it from this site to the rapidshare site.

I just tried it, and it works now!

D,

Roger that. Got it. Question - Do I apply all the items as a Mod in the Mod file, OR do I distribute them individually throughout the game folders? Oh, and thanks. :)

D,

Threw them all in as a single flie in the Mods file. Worked fine. Looks great! Will run some troops around it and see how she runs. Not sure about having to edit. Sizes and all seem find. Rhanks again.

Jack – I set it up to work as a single mod, so you shouldn’t have to divide the files unless you plan on adding them into another mod, but you have already figured this out!

I reduced all of the terrain graphics by half of what my sizes are, I was just not sure how they would look on your computer.

The only edits that you may have to do would be the density levels in the Mod \ Map \ KS.csv file – to adjust to your computer specs.

I’m still experimenting with doing something with the jump-map , the names just seem to stand out, and so I’m trying to break that up a bit.

This is like the fourth draft of it; it breaks the map up some-what!

Hey, do you remember when you wanted to rename the map to add some trees, and I stated that that was not possible, considering that the maps are locked?

Well, there is another way of doing something like that, with the new modding system that Norb has implemented!

You can take the whole mod, Copy it to the desktop, rename it to something else such as Kansas2 – and then place it back into your games mod folder.

This way you can edit the mapname.csv file only, having a map that has less trees and or woods, depending on how many men you are running in the OOB.

So, instead of constantly editing the files, you would just activate which-ever-mod, to adjust to the OOB.

D,

Good deal on the editing/naming concept. Question - Troops are moving icredibly slowly, even on apparently open field terrain. How can that be edited? Was trying to push my Cav out front to scout down the road and it took FOREVER for them to just get to the road, from which they were just 50-100 scale yards away. Thoughts?

Hah , that made me laugh, I always forget to edit those numbers, it seems that I’m the only one that likes the game to move extremely slow.

OK, in the Mod \ Kansas Map1 \ Maps – folder, open the KS.csv file, and edit the following Columns.

Column C – the movement settings
Change all of the -5 to the default settings -0.1 , or something like that.

Column G – the defensive settings
Check the default settings, and change all of the numbers to that, all of mine are set to something like 90, or 95 – this reduces the casualties greatly, by making the whole field have a defensive bonus.

Column H – the fatigue settings
You will have to adjust all of these to the default settings also.

Jack - since I'm using the Excel Program - it is probably easier for me to edit the files.

Try this one - just place in the Mods \ Kansas Map1 \ Maps - folder. It should over-write the other one.

KS.csv - file only.
The attachment KS.rar is no longer available

Jack – I was able to get a few more FPS by editing the following lines. The fall trees are fairly large so they use up a fair amount of processing.

KS.csv file.

Line 8 – Woods – Column D 140

Line 10 – Light-Woods – Column D 55

Line 14 – Orchard – Column D 100

Line 43 – Corn – Column D 3
