I don't think it's really worthwhile anyway, we had far more crashes on the stock scenarios seemed like, plus they don't exactly favor MP play due to their imbalanced nature.

Have you guys ever tried the 'GB South Day Two' MP scenarios that are included in the B&F mod? If I had ever gotten any positive, or any  feedback on these, I would have been motivated to design more, historically based most probably, because that's what primarily drives me.

Still, balance can be designed within the historic framework, whether historic or fantasy, just takes some dedicated testers/players to help it evolve so it can eventually be played competitively by either side.

how would that work, would we all have to have the B&F mod installed and turned on to play it? It's taken months just to get people to start using your toolbar :P

OK, included the scenarios within. Just the host must have this version, he'll select the scenario. I also did a quick SR10 fix, so the 3 scenarios have SR10 clones, to help FPS...especially the Corps level one. Hope it works, more to come if ya'll ask, if I'm not snowed under with SOW team commitments.

MP_Toolbar_MusketRange200 with MP scenarios

I'll note the update on my MP Toolbar thread also.

Make sure to put the scenarios in the work/scenarios/ folder so that they will show up in MP scenarios while hosting. I would be willing to test the balance of these out in MP if I can find someone willing to host.

No sir, the scenarios remain in the folder as is, and it's selected and played like any other mod. That was changed with the introduction of modding MP play.

Strange, that's the only way I could get the scenario aspect to show up in the proper place. Anyhow, I got it to work and I really like the Day 2 Div scenario. I played as McClaws and let the AI take Hood's division. I had taken the stony hill and Hood cleared Devil's Den with about 25 min to spare. Benning's brigade then intercepted Strong Vincent's brigade in the wheatfield as it was marching towards LRT. So by the end we held all 3 obj with relative ease. It would be interesting to see how a good Union general would do on this scenario as the Union does have 1,400 more troops and better ground and arty. Not sure if the scenario allows this but if the Union side gets Tilton and Sweitzer (didn't see action within timeframe) up quickly there would be the devil to pay.

Cool, glad you enjoyed it. Tried to make this historic, so the Union reinforcements are in route, and if they don't run, should arrive at historic intervals, so the Rebs have the upper hand at first.

Yeah that's one of the main reasons I still enjoy SP scenarios because as a history buff you gotta love the timing. For example I had started to think Vincent wasn't in the scenario till he started marching his brigade across the road towards LRT at the appropriate time. Because they got intercepted (but still repulsed Benning to my surprise  ), I was wondering if normally in the last 20 min if they make it to LRT in time for any fight up there to take place?

Reb, I didn't get a second chance to test it last night, but for whatever reason, your toolbar stopped working for me (and everyone else). Just wanted to let you know in case you felt like messing with it. I shall try to get a more detailed rundown when I can.
