This is where our experts try to teach you the very flexible modding system for our previous release - SOW Gettysburg and its add-ons. It's powerful, but dangerous. Post your tips and your questions.

Nice. I like Conway Twitty too.

Born,

Where did you get Ashokean Fairwell? I'd love to add that to my game soundtrack.

Also, to all and Sundry,

Where can I find a good free music converter? I had a good one on my old comp, but when I reinstalled the software I lost it and don't remember who did it or where I got it.
Thanks.

Mike,

Thanks, but no. Ashokean Farewell is the haunting, sort-of theme song from the Ken Burns series "The Civil War."

That is a nice tune. I love that series, unfortunately PBS only shows it in bit's, and pieces....excellent choice there Jack. :)

Cheers...

I have the soundtrack to the series but if you just want that song it's available on Amazon for $.89.

Okay, I take it all back. Found it but I cannot add it to my soundtrack or I'll sit here and cry. Three songs will do that to me - Battlehymn of the Republic, Dixie, (both played or sung really slowly - my folks used to sing me to sleep at night with them. They are MY songs of this country), and Ashokan Farewell. I had forgotten that that. I've shed enough tears and blood in my life. Don't need to do extra.
