Willard,
In defense of Cleburne, he told me he thought he found a bug by accident in that game. As most of you know, Cleburne avoids melee like it's the King's knickers. But in that game, he responded to Seal's charge, and while his unit was in melee, he kept clicking the button to make sure they were in fact charging. It was then he noticed it.
We tested it and confirmed it.

C'mon, you know us better than that.. We'll get it fixed. It's R&R time right now.. Creating a new patch and battle pack is exhausting. Give us a little break, and there will be patch to fix it.
In the meantime if all players have access to the bug, then it's not really cheating is it?
Keep urging the honor system.. I'm sure there will be fix before too long.

To all:
Look.....this is how it is.....we (the
Dev Team) need to take a break......
NORB need's to take a break. When it's time, this issue will be addressed.
Right now.....IS NOT THE TIME.
In the meanwhile, concerning MP......if you cannot play "nice"......then don't play.
That simple. B)
We are a small Company.....we do what we can.....when we can.

The decision to go public with this was an incredibly poor one, in my opinion. If it had not been made public, no one would know about it (except the discoverer) and it would not even be an issue. Since the discoverer is apparently so "honorable" I am sure we could have trusted him not to abuse this trick.

It's funny you mention that ... Kester advised to keep it quiet and just push to get it fixed under the radar. It's like keeping the knowledge of an illness away from the public in order to prevent it from spreading through hysteria.
But ... cat's out of the bag and now everyone will be playing with a finger on the nuke button thinking everyone else is firing their missiles.

I went public with this in the hope it would spur action from NSD. The mistake I made was in telling you about it. It appears you are unable to take a defeat without acting like a child and running around using the exploit.
All of the MP players EXCEPT YOU have agreed not to use it, and no one EXCEPT YOU has used it in a GCM game.

Soldier,
You are distorting what happened last night now, just like you were then. I did not use it last night because I was losing but because I thought that another player I was engaged in hand to hand fighting with was using it against me - which is precisely the problem with this being out there. Every time someone is engaged in melee it will be in the back of their minds that the other player just might be using this. The only other time I used it was in a random game, and I will not use it again.

Gents Please!,
Must this thread continue to spiral down until it degrades yet another thread here that the MP community is voicing on.....How can we support a growing project like this if WE CANT EVEN SUPPORT EACH OTHER.I dont want to see anymore accusations or fingers pointed from MP guys as it just doesnt reflect well on US as a whole.Norbsoft have stated their position and i think its a most reasonable one. They cant fix it yet and we have to accept that.If gentlemens rulings cannot be abided by...then i must ask those refusing to abide by it WHAT is their motive? Please think before you start posting and ranting here as its a public forum and not a multiplayer play pen that toys are tossed from in anger.Lets show how we can support each other through a hard time and not the ol routine of "everyman for himself".Thankyou
Cleburne

So. . . because you were losing in melee to another player (not me), you decided to run across the field and use the exploit against me?
Sorry, Seal, but I don't believe you. Only you don't trust other players to not use it. Only you have used it in a GCM game. I say there's a 100% chance that you will use it again.

I hope you don't really believe that.
