DaV,

Here are the pics and info you asked for.

The Grenadiers are showing as dead. The Officer and Flag are holdovers from the Original British unit these guys replaced. I know there's an easy way to do it but I can't remember.

ALSO - the Grenadiers firing speed is fine. I see no issues with it. Maybe because, (I remember),
you have slowed down the game so they may be firing out of sequence for some reason.

@Jack - I think that the Flag Bearer is controlled by the unitglobal in the V Column .

Also, you can probably set-up the units the same way that they did in the Napoleon files, by having a line devoted to just that particular unit.

The guy that did these graphic files, did an amazing job, they look good!

DaV,

Alisello did the graphics. Yeah, great job. Bingo on the flagbearer. Just gotta change it to a private.

Yes, I did that with the unit files - didn't work. Gonna try some Frenchies next and see if they work.

I would go a different route, I would stick with the ones that you are working on and try to solve that problem first.

Other-wise you may find yourself doing the same thing.

Also - what information is in the SOWGB.txt file...(i.e.. error)?

That should help to narrow-down the problem.

DaV,

Planned on that first. Thanks.

SOWGB.Log was "not enough angles and textures for all the Brit Regular infantry, etc. Very odd since they have exactly the same number of graphics files as the Brit grenadiers you did. My opinion - they should have copied over with just the file names changed for the correct soldier.

@Jack - Hey, check the Minden \ Data Files \ Sprites and see what numbers were used in the K Column .

DaV,

Annoyingly enough, they are identical to the Grenadier sprites numbers across the board. That's just odd.

...And...as if this couldn't get ANY weirder, I've managed to put French Infantry on the field, more or less, on the first try. They do everything they're supposed to do, BUT, they're doing the "Twitchy, face the wrong way dance" and the SOWGB.log says there aren't enough textures for _Death_7.dds. Go figure.

I would guess that the Angles \ Frames are close but not exact .
And the SOWGB.log says there aren't enough textures for _Death_7.dds. Go figure.
You should not have a _Death_7 considering that there is only one Death file.

Since this is the third-set that you are working on, it should be SA_Inf_H_03-8_Death or something similar to that name.

I named the first set 01 , what did you name the second set?

DaV,

YES! You are correct. I just figured out there are 2 sets of troops. Some start with H_BR_whatever and some start with BR_whatever. Am I right in assuming you used the H_BR_Gre_ Graphics and not the BR_Gre_, then moved the _H_ into the middle of the graphic title.

Yes I'm going to go back and re-set some of the set numbers. Also, both sets of French infantry graphics have 8 death.dds files each. It's odd that all the others loaded up with numbers I kind of guessed at. Yes, the British only have 1 death file.

I named the second set 01 also since it was a different type of sprite. Going to go change that to 02.
Makes sense.

Once more into the Breach!
