Thank you for uploading that Crikey, I was going to do the same thing. Saves me some work. Yep, this is exactly the effect I am seeing, it applies to EVERY flag to a greater or lesser degree. The units with two flags have that 'sheared off' bouncing effect while units with one flag such as generals and guns actually alternate two flags in place. For example the French guns swap the plain grey cross flag with the cross flag that has the inscription on, as though the game is telling the unit to fly two different flags in the same location.

Ok,
Crikey thanks for the vid, gave me a better idea of the problem.
Have managed to duplicate it(I hope),the problem may be in the GFX logistic file,if you look at the screen below, the green highlight is how the red highlight should look(my edit),I don't know how it could have got changed, but each frame of the flags is 320 by 320,so this should be the size in the GFX file.
The attachment EXCEL2014-07-1220-20-02-26.jpg is no longer available
I really hope this is it,even if I don't understand how.

Ah, I was really hoping you'd found the problem, but that's not it, all my columns say 320 already.
I tried making column J into 160 but it had no effect.

Yeah, sadly I have 320 too. I'll have a closer look at the figures in case any other differences.
For the Brits it's the large flag sheet 1 that's the problem. Changing the flags in the oob to some those on sheet 2 removes the bounce. Are the animations different? I noticed it has an odd no of flags 15 as opposed to even on sheet 2 but struggling for reasons why it's a problem.

Hey, I don't have the Mod Installed to check this but if all of the numbers in columns F & L are supposed to go by 640 - check the lines starting with Line #39 .
That's when they start going wrong.... 5120+640=5760 .....not 5780 .
But, that's just guessing that that is the actual problem.

Thanks
Davinci, and hi,you're right about the poor maths,it never affected my flags,so I didn't pick it up, but I have changed the GFX file, link below.
If this isn't it then I'll look at re-doing the flags, and trying a different arrangement.
Here's hoping.

D & Pom - thanks for your efforts but still no luck I'm afraid.
Puzzling to say the least. Nvidia issues, I wonder.

What I don't get is that for some people the mod runs fine with flag animations all okay. That makes me think it could be either an Nvidia video card issue or something peculiar to mine and Crikey's SoW installation.

I've been following this with some interest, since we had this problem with a few flags in TC2M. I'm going to have to download this and see if I can help. Y'all have done all the right steps in the normal "figuring it out" mode. Gotta be something different, along the lines of what Tank just said.

I have really been enjoying this mod. I have not seen any issues yet.
I am running 64 bit on win 7
AMD Radeon HD 6800
if this helps!
