Very powerful piece of music. Ken Burns is a master and the Civil War is the best he's ever done. The best anyone's ever done for that matter, in my opinion.

Has anyone tried using the theme from the movie Gettysbury that Ted Turner was instrumental in making as the SOWGB_Intro by just renaming the Gettysburg-theme to SOWGB_Intro?

Yes. You can do that with any piece of music. Just rename the original and then rename the one you want to the original name. Make sure the one you want is a mp3.
