I applied the patch without issue, but now when I fire up Gettysburg it has reset all my game scores so that I can't play any of the later GB battles - I get the message I need to complete earlier scens when I try and load a scenario. I have copied across my highscore backup but it doesn't appear to have been altered.

Interestingly, all my high scores are showing on the scenario selection map as per normal.

I'm not sure why you had to copy over your high score files. Did you do a fresh install? You could have just installed the patch over your old version.

But in the future if you want to transer over saved games and carryover info, you would also have to transfer over your carryover files as well so you don't get the message to complete earlier scenarios. Those are in \Scourge of War - Gettysburg\Work\Saved Games\Cont

Thanks Jube. It was quite a task getting the water planes to fit right over the creek (and they still aren't perfect in a few areas) but I'm still very happy with the results, and glad to see others are too.

Thank you Little Powell I think the new water effects look great. I wanted to post the pics up just to show everyone how much better it looks now. I really appreciate that the team took time to go back and enhance the older maps. I’m very pleased indeed with how the game looks now, I’m loving Chancellorsville and can’t wait until the next release.

That is what I did. I was on 1.5 (which was allowing me to play all the GB scens) then patched 1.6 beta and the game now blocks me from all but the entry scens in the game.

Note, there are no files in \Scourge of War - Gettysburg\Work\Saved Games\Cont.

It has taken me a good couple of years to complete the GB scenarios and now I have to start over? :dry:

Ok, I think I found the source of some confusion. You have you not only install the 1.5 matrix patch for Gettysburg, but also a seperate 1.5 patch for Antietam and Pipe creek if you have them. Only the Gettysburg patch is listed in the forum and patch listings ..the others are obtained by registering the expansions and then clicking on the "registered" hyperlink. This takes you to the expansion patch.

For the last 4 months, I had been under the impression that the 1.5 Gettysburg matrix updated the entire game and expansions.

I'm quite thrilled about the new water. I passed on the scenarios for Burnsides Bridge when they first came out because I couldn't deal with the older water graphics. But now I am quite interested in playing them.
