Scourge of War 1.5 Patch / Activation Errors

I had the same problem. I wrote the codes down on a piece of paper and taped it to my cd inside cover. Of course I didn't separate letters or numbers with the little - . So I figured it out after several attempts.
The Gettysburg code is all one line but the two others are separated. Glad you got it.

Being a computer neophyte I just want to make sure that I am using the correct procedure to install patch 1.5. I just downloaded it yesterday. The file is 221,964 KB and at the end of the description it reads "v150rev" so I assume that this is the revised patch. I have my license number so if I understand correctly, I merely have to install the patch and there is no need for deactivation and then reactivation or anything to do with registries. If this is the case, then I will go ahead and install the patch, otherwise I will wait until the problems have been resolved. Thanks.

Yes, just install the patch, enter your activation code, and you'll be good to go.

Well I thought I had done everything right !!!!

Downloaded the revised patch 1.5

Had all my activation codes to hand Main Game, Antietam, Pipe Creek

And then the wretched install program did not even prompt me for the Antietem and Pipe Creek codes and set up the game without those extensions enabled.

Now I have to plough through the mass of posts on the forum to try to find a remedy. I really feel like saying 'a pox on both your houses' and buy the damned extensions again. easier on the nerves.

Another MATRIX SNAFU !!!!!

I access Matrix Support. Try to open a registration and find that ZIMBABWE is not included in the drop-down box of countries. This of course is an obligatory field.

Are these people geographically-challenged or something ?

Yesterday I registered on the Matrix forum using all the same data as I use on Norb Software Forum.

Today I try to access the forum. Remembers my user name but then rejects the password and e-mail that I had set up.

What sort of Micky Mouse organisation have you lumbered us with here, Guys.

I am outflanked on all fronts. I retire defeated.

I now have the game on Drive G: and Drive E: and neither works.

I have decided to wipe everything and buy the whole game and extensions again from Matrix. If you can't solve a problem try throwing money at it.

Geoff - my sympathies. Before you give up, consider that hardly anyone will have seen your cries for help. If you give people (particulalrly in the States) time to get up, I'm sure someone will be able to help.

Yes, I agree that it may be better to wait this out, it seems that the Installer to set to install to the default C:\directory which you are not using.

So, even if you buy the game again, there is no guarantee that that will work any better.

NSD should be able to sort this out later today!
