I had guests in my house this weekend and at one point decided to deactivate the game on my tower and move it to my laptop. I have done this before,it takes about 5 minutes. This time was different. I deactivated the game on my tower and then got some message about emailing in the code??? to complete deactivation and this could take 24 hrs. I didn't want this so I tried to reactivate the game on my tower( I was just going to forget about the laptop-my guests would be gone in 24 hrs), but it wouldn't. I got a message that said code was already activated. I found the notepad message and emailed to the appropriate address where I got a response the next day that said that I must deactivate the code first before I can use it again.

I am presently locked out and cannot activate any game.

Sounds as if you did the same thing Garnier did: hit the manual deactivation instead of the online deactivation.

It does sound like you hit manual instead of automatic. Maybe I need a warning dialog there before it's done. In your work folder there should be a usercode.txt file or something like that (not positive about the name). You can email that to sowsupport and they'll get you running again.

You might need to get your code unlocked.

Send an email to sowsupport at scourgeofwar dot com with your code and email address you used to purchase the game.
Hi :)

I have this "Activation failed" too. I have reinstalled the game on a new HD and got all the time "Activation failed" , Email send to the support with no response so far.
Any other ways to play the game again ?

You must have not deactivated on the old computer before you tried to activate on the new one. Do you still have access to the old computer so you can try and de-activate?

Ok then you'll need to get your code unlocked. If you sent an email to support, then someone will unlock it as soon as they can get to it.
