That was quite funny with the convoy of couriers.
OK, looking at the pictures, this is what you are doing wrong, and I’ll try to explain this better.
If you use the Divisional Commander to Take-Command of everyone such as pressing the 1 key – everybody is now under the Take-Command mode.
You, only want the brigade leaders to be under this, not the regiments.
That will eliminate the need for so many couriers spawning, and racing in the same direction.
Now, even if you can see a clearer path, the AI might not, but this is normal, people drive for years, and there is not a guarantee that they are taking the shortest path.
Hey, I have a GPS that had to have been made by Exxon – it never takes the shortest route.
***** – Another consideration they you may wish to implement would be to place the Corps \ Divisional Commander closer to the vicinity of the units that you \ they are planning on moving.
And this would keep the realism of the time, by having the leader sitting on his horse watching as the troops prepared to get under way.
Yes - the code is already in the game, and I agree with the Team Members that stated that this courier-system was probably never designed to do everything that we demand from it!
