Hancock - Hold your horses there my friend. Norb said the new option will be in the next beta patch. It's not in yet.

Downloaded in 4 minutes, installed in 1. I then played solitaire sandbox with an OOB that I often use: three Union corps vs. six Confederate divisions. The movement was very jerky/sluggish, on the same settings that I've been using.
From reading a prior post, perhaps it has something to do with changing a default value...which I know nothing about. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Try changing your uniform quality to best. With the new textures, best will actually run just as smooth if not smoother than low.

Installed patch 1.4. After installation received message that code is corrupted and needed to deactivate and reactivate. Tried this but says game is activated. Code that I had is no longer valid. Sent a message to Norb but wondering if anyone else experienced same problem. Am only able to access the demo game. No sandbox available

Did you email the support address? You wouldn't want to contact Norb with something like this. The support address is he right move.

FINALLY. Everything is installed, patched and working fine. Seems the biggest issue was "operator errors" B) All i really needed was to step away and clear my head, and, uh, pay heed to what LP was suggesting. Thanks for your help and patience Powell.
Wherever the headquarters flag of A.P. Hill floated, whether at the head of a regiment, a brigade, a division, or a corps, in camp or on the battle-field, it floated with a pace and a confidence born of skill, ability and courage, which infused its confidence and courage into the hearts of all who followed it.

Cool. We're gonna make sure and put a big "DISABLE ALL MODS BEFORE INSTALL" in the intro readme.
Also we'll see about fixing the prob with no SB options selected.

Would like to note that the artillery sprites seem to jump around when the cannon fires. You would have to see it to know what I mean. Sometimes couriers do the same thing.
Don't know if this is just a camera angle thing or that the sprite file is off by a few pixils.

Hi Little Powell
I sent an email to the site suggested on the forums here. Have received an email back so is in process of being investigated. Hopefully will be sorted soon

LP,
Fortunately, I did that before I installed the patch. Have had no problems.

haaaa, funny thing just happened concerning the NOT FOUND in Sandbox. I had a game earlier with the Nap mod, and I exited the game (I didn't disable the Nap mod because I wanted to go back later to pick up where I left off).
I restarted SOWgb, and chose Sandbox, and the NOT FOUND's appeared. I went back, and disabled the Nap mod, also checking to make sure no other mods were active as well then restarted SOW, and reactivated the Nap mod, and everything is fine. It's like you have to deactivate all mods before leaving the game or you will get the NOT FOUND issue when you go back to play the game...
Later.
