I can use all the help I can get.
This is why I rely on you guys for things like this. Here's the font. If I would just read, my life would be a lot easier. Have to put it in an archive to upload.
I'll be at the PA Monument for a majority of the weekend. Do you know of any other battle walks being done over the weekend?I like the direction we're moving in for the appearance of the courier messages. A good friend of mine is the librarian (and also a ranger) at Gettysburg National Military Park. I'll be seeing him this Friday on a Gettysburg Anniversary Battlewalk tour he's giving at 10 AM.
Yes ,AJ – it would finally give us a general idea about the color of said messages.I'll try to remember to ask him about the appearance of the field orders he's seen from the battle.
I would think that that would be Hard-Coded, but that is just a guess! While the current font isn't too bad (better than a typewritten look), something like a 19th century handwriting font like "Lamar Pen" would look more accurate and is still an easy to read font.
I guess that this would fall under the category of problem-solving-modding.Wow, all this blossomed from that Large Screen Courier glitch.
It would be nice if there were a way of adding two spaces after each sentence, that should move the letters over to the right, probably not do-able!Nice ideas there on the wavy message. Now Herr D sir, figure out how to get the text to follow the contours of the page...now that would be something to behold. B)
I can probably fold down that corner of the sheet for you, if you like, once I finish with this, !I ran across another small issue with the 2nd scenario in the Brigade Scenario Pack, "The First Shot". The location graphic writes over the Large Courier Screen for both D and RB. Now way to tell if it's just me.
