I suppouse he can not, because he is without the faintest notion about that something, isn’t it.
I must apologize, I have read this sentence several times, and I don’t have the faintest notion with regards to the point that you are making!
That my sentence was not regards to the point that I was making here.
That sentence was clearly logical negation of your pervious statement. B)
You stated that
I think that everyone that stand up and demands or suggest something without the faintest notion about what there are asking should that he a simple but effective little test.
Your implication – if someone suggest something without the faintest notation, he should take a effective test - was clearly logically false. He could not do effective test, because he was, as you suggested, without the faintest notion about something.

Now it could be clear for you I suppose.
You claim that you have done extensive research in reading about your concerns with this game, but without this game you can’t play the free mod that will become available in due time.

If you really do know so much, then maybe the only way for you to have the mod that you truly enjoy is for you to mod it yourself .

You know, you actually do something other than just sit back and complain as if someone on this board owes you something!

That was your next controversial or even false statememt.

I was not inted to complain and in fact I did not complain.
Only put here few examples of good and not so good things, which many people can easy find in SoWG.
I have not claim that I have done extensive research. That was only what I watched and read about SoWG.
I did it because I was not familiar with this game and was not sure whether this game engine is suited for Napoleonic warfare. Gunship24 clearly undestand my questions and
The engine isnt entirely suited for Napoloenic warfare, but im aware of that.
Isn't funny that you do not undestand my posts and you wrote to me something like that?
I don’t have the faintest notion with regards to the point that you are making!
Sorry, my English is poor or, maybe you did not find that I am not programmer, modder, designer or map maker, but I am interested in Napoleonic Wars and seek game or mod about that period.
I could help in historical resaerch, make ideas or suggest something about NW, but I see that gunship24 know quite well NW. Neverhteless there are many things which could be or should be taken into account.

Then SoWG mods could be more interesting I suppose.

Anything of these? Well.....which is it? Anyway.......This is a friendly forum. Just seems to be quite the bit of complaining on your part instead of good 'ol questions. Yes Nowy......I'm a real Son of a Bitch till you get to know me. ;)
It looks that you can not recognise what is complain and what is criticism and true facts I supouse.
Nevertheless you can call yourself as you like. B)

Why , just why !

I have an idea, maybe if you would just spend half the amount of time participating in learning to mod as you do explaining yourself, you would help yourself by changing the things pertaining to the game \ mod that doesn’t fit into your style of playing!

Your extensive research should have explained that this game is extremely flexible,
and extremely moddable. There is no experience required, just the wiliness on your part to learn.

Hey, I’m through with this, besides I have got to get back to playing my crappy-game, on my crappy-game-engine!

Hey, in conclusion I don’t even know why we should be bothered by these posts, we should just agree with them, in the hopes that they would move on and post else-where.

I mean think about it, we have the honor and the privilege to play one of the greatest computer wargames ever created, by a man that has sacrificed years of his life making this game for us to play.

If some people don’t like this game that has given us such enjoyment, why should we go out of our way trying to explain this, it’s their lost, not ours.

DaV,

Indeed sir, you are correct. Let us hasten to the sound of the Guns, lest our comrades be overtaken by events.

Have you been watching a William Shakespeare movie – you are starting to sound very poetic!

Hey, I just thought of something, gunship24 is going to make a mod that comes after all of us for jumping topic in his Napoleon Mod .

I shall now hasten my departure from this subject!

I'm just too busy a)modding, b)working and c)enjoying the odd summer weather we have right now.

Update:

So after updating my version of OpenOffice which allowed me to edit drills.csv and save it in a way that wasnt corrupt, I have added the 3-rank versions of Line and LineFight. I also added an Order Mixte to see if it would work. Here are some pics of a brigade deploying from line to Ordre Mixte:

Results are good. It works by deploying two batallions in line followed by a column on each flank, then another set of columns behind the first ones before alternating between another row of lines and more columns. By the way if anyone is unfamiliar with napoleonic terms, a battalion is like a civil war regiment. Im still using the default Column of Divisions.
