Just out of curiosity, how will water be handled in SOW? Will impassable water still be able to be put into customs maps and open play and such?

Haven't messed with the map in a while, but I'm pretty sure that we do support impassible areas.

Does the water only appear at certain heights? Like in TC2M.

we treat the water as planar objects on these maps; this gives us much more control on how they appear at different elevations.

That is good.
It's a little weird when water only appears at certain heights.
Another question: Can we make the water move?

I've been following this game for a while, but I'm afraid that this comment
actually forced me to register to ask this question.
We're going to have Moses in the game?

Yes, indeed! There are 760 soldiers that served throughout the CW in both the Union and Confederate armies with the last name of Moses. If you could be more specific as to the first name, will happy to provide information on his participation at GB! For example, we know that A. Moses' regiment, the 6th Alabama fought at Gettysburg...as did Alfred Moses' regiment, the 5th Vermont Infantry.
J. :woohoo:
(Don't you just love a Weizenheimer?)

Like a stream running downhill?
It would be cool to see blood trickling down into the streams, then flowing downhill.
Some waterfalls (although not realistic to G-burg) would enhance the scenary.
