I was thinking this might be a fun idea. Having a place here at NSD we can share some of our favorite music/bands videos. But please make the content suitable for all and if and when you want to add new videos, just edit your original post and add the new video you would like to share.:)

To get it started, I would like to share this very haunting video someone put together with the song "I'm Going Home" by Mary Fahl. A song I very much enjoy:

Very cool vid.....Band of Gypsy's live at the Fillmore, January 1,1970 (early show):

I have a lot of favorite bands, only because I like a song, and then hear a better one. B) Most of the stuff I listen to is Alternative Rock, like Green Day, All American Rejects, Angels and Airwaves.

I think I lost track of pop music after the Beach Boys dropped off the top 10.

I believe you mean the "South Beach Diet Grandpa's"! :P

In all seriousness, the Beach Boy's were monumentous when it came to vocal harmony. My favorite of their's has always been "In My Room".:)

Yep, they're old now, but they helped me get through college. Not sure if the guys on my dorm floor appreciated the volume I sometimes played the music. Now I'd probably need that volume just to hear them.

One thing kind of neat about being one of the "old guys" is that there were civil war vets still alive up until I was about 12 years old. Sometimes the war seems so long ago in history, but when you put it in that perspective it was just a couple generations ago.

Ahh yes the Beach Boys ! My very first concert in 1975 during the "Endless Summer Tour". My older brother took his girlfriend, myself & a friend of mine. What a blast we had - I'll never forget that night or experience.

I like all types of music, what ever is good is good, doesn't matter the genre. My most listened to band has to be GnR. I loved their sound. Used to get real pissed on how bad they screwed it up.

whatever gets my creativity going at the moment works for me... lately i've been listening to early Talking Heads, the White Stripes, some Deftones, Clutch, some blues (Sonny Boy Williamson/John Lee Hooker/Jimmy Reed), Stereolab, and Aphex Twin... i'm all over the board. Stan Getz, Joao Gilberto and Charles Mingus in the jazz dept recently too... Hank Williams ain't bad neither. as a data point, i was listening to David Byrne's The Forest wandering around Gettysburg the day before i met the team. powerful stuff... but that's just me i guess.

my go-to band has to be Steely Dan, though. Big Dan Fan here. Got the opportunity to do some web graphics for them many moons ago which was cool.
