Hi all
Got the demo installed and it looks excellent, but I'm having sound problems with it.
The music played great, and the clicking on the toolbar makes clicking noises - super - the sounds that I don't here are the marching / gun fire sound.
What info do you need from me to sort this out?
Thanks
Demo Sound Problems

You're not the only one, a number of people including myself have that issue.

Sorry, I did not mean to appear discourteous.
I was just trying to answer the OP; you must have posted right before I did.

Master, music, and effects sound sliders in options. As with TC2 no sound sliders caused many headaches running the game with voip or internet talk radio ect.. Game was overly loud compared to other sounds from other programs.
Also I had to turn off my EAX in my sound panel for my X-Fi Fatality as everything was echoing in SOWGB.
Not sure if this is the 800 pound gorilla but this game desperately needs:Don't worry! We're on it.... I swear

I agree, Rob. Unlike some people I have *some* battle sound but it is very muted. Even when I crank the volume up it sounds like someone walking on twigs in wool-wrapped slippers. I can live with many of the glitches I'm seeing but a silent-battle is a real immersion-killer for me. I'm sure that will get resolved. However, not including sound sliders so I can balance battle and interface sounds, for example, seems a little strange. I can't really think of any game I've played in the last 5 years, even indie titles, that don't have volume sliders.

Yes I’m having the same problem The game itself is great but the sound is really terrible. The music that units play is barely audible as is the musket sound.I have an Acer predator high end PC
I want to hear muskets firing and cannons blasting. There were some great sound mods for TC2M let’s hope some of the guys do one similar to the one that had all the commands “form road column ” est.
