Scourge of War Boards

I’m enjoying the game but find something strange. The sprites don’t seem as high resolution/sharp as TC2m on max setting also the flags in TC2M are also a lot clearer,sharper and more detailed. Map wise SOW seems much nicer but the sprites and flags on max setting don’t look as good as as high res ones in TC2M .I know there’s a great flag mod in the pipeline and that might have more detailed and sharper flags.
I can run the graphically intensive Napoleon total war on ultra settings and have the following rig
Vista, AMD Phenom 9750 Quad core. 4 GB ram Ati Radeon HD 4850
I’m not excepting the game to match napoleon for looks I just want to max out the graphics as best as possible. So if there’s anyway I can max it out id be glad of some advice. Thanks

As I remember the last game even had bayonettes coming from the top of the rifle.... where the sights are. :laugh:
I think we achieved this realism, though sprites are sprites and you can't view even hi-res sprites close up without a certain amount of blur.
