Most Unusual Name

My candidate: Confederate Major General "States Rights" Gist. His grandfather had fought in the First American Revolution and must have passed it down. General Gist (The letter "G" is pronounced hard as the "G" is pronounced in "Guest".)

One of my favorite generals. He played a big role in the defense of Charleston, especially during The Battle of Ft. Lamar (AKA Battle of Secessionville). He died heroically leading his brigade during the battle of Franklin.
