Windows 7 Oddness

Here you can talk about whatever floats your boat. Your favorite movie, sports team, etc. If it's a little racey, I suggest you post in R&R, otherwise we'll move it for you.

Windows 7 Oddness

Post by norb »

Weird thing now that I'm on Win7 for my main PC. I've had the past two weeks off and finally got the time to switch everything to the new box. 6Gb ram, Win7 64bit, moved my video card into the new box too.

The weird thing is that while playing games I always use the WSAD scheme. But when I hold down two keys I always lose the first.

Say I'm moving forward holding down W, then I want to strafe and hold down A too, then I lift the A, I stop. The computer no longer can tell them I'm still holding down the W. It's very odd. Anyone else see this?

No, I checked it out and it works fine in demo.

Was going to hold off purchasing the game until the sound issue correction and 1st patch release but is SOWG is so incredible that I'll jump in next week.

By the way, thanks for the heads up on using the full screen mode for Windows 7. I tried 1600 X 900 ..... WOW!!!!
