Random OOB Generator

This is part of the Order Of Battle Editor. To access it, go to "Tools -> Random OOB Generator".

After generating an OOB, click the "OOB Completed" button to load it into the editor.

I wrote this originally for TC2M, and for now it is the same thing. After generating a TC2M OOB it converts it to a SOWGB oob using the converter. Then you can load it into the editor right away.

Eventually I might rewrite it for SOWGB, but this works well enough, and it only took an hour to add it to the editor. (It took two days to write the original).

Hi.

I have just downloaded the OOB editor, and there is no tool option in the toolbar?

Hmm. Either you disabled the automatic updates, or the update failed. The update works for me. Will have to wait to see if anyone else tries it.

Hi.

Odd though, I downloaded I think an earlier version (I think it was an earlier version), and there was an option for Tools, so I thought this is an updated version, installed it, and no Tools option is visible.

I also added the Updater to my firewall exceptions list.

Thanks...

Ah, I bet you downloaded it again without removing the old files, so it still contained the version files from before that said it was up to date.

Here's what to do, either remove the EditOOB folder entirely, and redownload it. OR, go into the folder and delete local_version.txt and local_index.txt. Then run EditOOB and it should update.

You should never need to download EditOOB again, as it auto updates itself.

Hi.

Garnier, I have also noticed that I have tried to load an OOB which was converted by you, and I get an error "invalid oob" notice. I get the same thing for all the oob's I try to load.

I Garnier.

I did as you said, and it did update to the new files.

The program just crashes, it won't start.

Did you try completely removing it and re-downloading it?
