Scourge of War Boards

This is a small mod which allows the player to open the mini-map screen from the courier screen. If you are like me, I usually have to look at the map 1 or 2 times when writing orders. Just unzip the file into the Mods folder. The folder, MyMods can be renamed to whatever you like. Oh, the mod which stops the clock while the map is open is part of this mod.

I have downloaded, installed and authenticated the mod.

But I cannot see what you have to do do cause the map to appear ?

Have I missed an explanatory text file somewhere ?

At the top left of the courier screen there is the word "Map", just click on it. That line used to contain the word "Information." I just shortened it to "Info" and added "Map" to the left of it.
The mod only works in Sandbox mode. It will work in User Scenarios if you place this mod above the User Scenarios in your Modification page.

I like what you did, are you going to be able to mod it for the stock scenarios? or SP in mod games?

WOW! I am continually amazed at the creativitiy of your folks!

I even more amazed how willing all of you are to help the OFF's like me! Following your directions, I successfully have downloaded the "MAP" to the courier screen.

Thanks for the kind words. I figure I'm not the only dunce playing this game. We need all the help we can get. :laugh:

unfortunately the mod doesn't work for. I have a 1680 - 1050 resolution. I see a vertical line in the Information Button though.
The historical mode is still not really good because I can't jump on the map to give a location where to go and then get back to the comander.
Any idea with that?
