several players are try'n to get a Mplay going but no one can host..thru lobby or Direct connect.......something weird going on ?

There are no servers involved. Each machine that hosts is the server. So it has to be something local on the machines that are trying to host. If everyone is using the latest beta patch, nothing has changed with that build.

Sorry that I'm not much help, but again, there isn't a widespread issue that would be giving everyone trouble.

You are correct it was our Hosting Skill....LOW.....Enough said


Got it figured out...and Had a GREAT GAME

Later Tim came in he could host but we all CTD several times, I know Norb is working on an update from Rakent so we just have to wait

Did the crashes occur when you first connected to the host's machine?

We have had some crashes during connection, random ones that we cannot nail down, but once the game is going it's been very solid. We are working hard to figure out why the game can crash, it's nothing in the log, so it's nothing that we're loading on our end. It's some condition coming from raknet that I'm probably not handling correctly.

I could set up a game and get everyone (except Bafonetto) in the game section picking officers etc. But it crashed about 5 seconds into the game two or three times in a row. In the end we ran out of time sadly.

Was it different people crashing, or the same person?

Well I was hosting and it crashed so everyone crashed. I should try out with you teseters but the time is bad for me being in the UK.
